Join the people keeping Wilkes-Barre standing.
Members fund the restoration of the Zebulon Butler House, keep our walking tours running, and help us honor the people saving the city’s architecture. Membership starts at $40 a year.
Membership levels
Every level includes all member benefits for one year. Higher levels put more toward the Butler House restoration.
Any gift over $40 automatically includes a year’s membership. Dues and gifts are tax-deductible.

Where your dues go
Bringing the city’s oldest house back to 1820.
The exterior is restored, the roof is watertight and the porch is rebuilt. Next comes the interior: original floors and walls, a public restroom, and Federal-period furnishings so visitors can step into Wilkes-Barre’s early years.

We welcome furniture, paintings, books and household items from 1780–1830 to furnish the Butler House.
